Munich (dpa) – Bayern Munich’s coach Julian Nagelsmann relies on Leroy Sané on the offensive in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League against FC Villarreal.
The national soccer player, who was so changeable recently, is in the starting XI of the German record champions for the home game in the Allianz Arena this Tuesday evening (9 p.m. / Amazon Prime Video).
Nagelsmann also relies on Jamal Musiala, Kingsley Coman and Thomas Müller on offense. As usual, world footballer Robert Lewandowski, about whom there is new speculation about an alleged move to FC Barcelona, is at the front.
According to reports, a chain of three around Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano and Lucas Hernández defends in front of national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Before that, Nagelsmann offers the duo Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in midfield. Bayern have to catch up from a 0-1 draw in the first leg.
