Captain of the U17 national team
FC Bayern has secured the services of goalkeeper talent Anthony Pavlesic. The captain of Australia’s U17 national team comes from the Central Coast Mariners youth team. The 17-year-old has already played three games for the Mariners reserve in the second-rate National Premier League this season and has even been in the A-League squad three times.
“Anthony completed a two-week trial with us in February and left a lasting impression. We then continued to follow him very closely and decided that the overall package was the right one. He’s a very positive guy who is very mature for his age and has all the physical abilities,” said goalkeeper coordinator Tom Starke. At FC Bayern, Pavlesic is initially planned for the U19s.
