Ulreich representative introduced
After Daniel Peretz recently said goodbye to his youth club Maccabi Tel Aviv, he has now been officially introduced to FC Bayern Munich. The future number two behind Sven Ulreich (35), who in turn replaces the injured Manuel Neuer (37), has signed a contract until 2028, as the record champions announced on Friday.
With a transfer fee of around 5 million euros, the 23-year-old Israel international ranks among the 20 most expensive goalkeepers in Bundesliga history. In addition, Peretz, who also has a German passport, is the eleventh Israeli to have a contract in the German football league – and the first at FC Bayern.

“With Daniel Peretz, we are very well positioned in our goalkeeper team – for this season and for the future. Daniel Peretz is a goalkeeper with great potential. In his younger years, he not only proved his skills in national, but also in international competitions,” commented CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen on the commitment.
With a market value of €4 million, Peretz has been the Ligat ha’Al’s most valuable player to date. The goalkeeper, who was born in Tel Aviv, made his breakthrough at Maccabi in the 2021/22 season. In 102 competitive games, he kept his box clean 44 times. Peretz also found international recognition because of his achievements for Israel’s national youth teams. With the U21s he reached the semi-finals at the 2023 European Championships. He missed the 3-0 defeat against title holders England with a yellow card. Before that, Peretz showed a strong performance in the 1-1 win against Germany in the group phase.
