FC Bayern professional back in training

Full-back Bouna Sarr has completed exercises with the ball at FC Bayern for the first time since tearing his cruciate ligament in his left knee, as the Munich team announced.

The national soccer player from Senegal sustained the serious injury during training more than three months ago. The 32-year-old has been running laps on Säbener Straße again since February. Sarr’s contract with the German record champions expires in the summer.

Offensive player Kingsley Coman also worked individually on his comeback on Thursday. The 27-year-old Frenchman was training with the ball on a nearby pitch. Coman tore the medial ligament in his left knee at the end of January.

Full-back Sacha Boey returned to substitute training for the first time on Wednesday. The Frenchman (23) tore a fiber in his left thigh in mid-February.
