The offensive star Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig, who has also been traded at FC Bayern for a long time, may be about to move to the English Premier League.
As the portal “The Athletic” reports, Nkunku has already signed a preliminary contract with Chelsea, which will be valid from the coming season.
This should include an agreement that the Blues will pull the release clause anchored in the Frenchman’s Leipzig contract next summer.
The fixed transfer fee for Nkunku is said to be 60 million euros.

The tabloid recently reported on a secret medical check near Frankfurt in the summer. This had already been carried out with a view to a change in 2023.
The transfer could be announced soon, based on the deal with Naby Keita. RB Leipzig sold the midfielder from Guinea to Liverpool FC in 2017.
However, the change was only completed in the summer of 2018. At that time, the Reds paid a bonus of ten million euros in addition to the transfer fee of 55 million euros in order to secure Keita’s services ahead of time.

In the case of Nkunku, however, there is also a contradicting message. According to “Sky”, the Chelsea change is not yet perfect. There is a strong interest from London and also negotiations between the clubs. Nkunku has not yet made his final decision and has not given his yes word to Chelsea.
The medical examination in the summer was carried out for insurance reasons. Chelsea representatives are said not to have been present.
It seems clear that FC Bayern is now out of the running at Nkunku. The people of Munich have repeatedly been associated with the 24-year-old in recent months.
