After three defeats in a row, there is discussion about a possible exit from Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel. Now a surprising name has emerged as a successor.
Tuchel initially received a job guarantee from those responsible at Bayern. When asked whether Tuchel would still be Bayern coach next week, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen clearly answered “of course”.
We’re talking about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The pay TV broadcaster Sky reports that Bayern, led by sports director Christoph Freund, have the Norwegian in mind. Solskjaer is best known from his time as manager of Manchester United. The 50-year-old was on the sidelines of the “Red Devils” between 2018 and 2021. There should not have been any concrete discussions yet.
Curious: If the Munich team actually brought in Solskjaer, they would be signing a former Bayern terror. Older Bayern fans in particular probably have bad memories of the former striker.
