Jamal Musiala will not be available to FC Bayern for the time being. The 20-year-old tore a muscle fiber in training on Wednesday and will probably miss at least the Bundesliga games next Sunday against FC Augsburg and six days later at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Musiala’s appearance in the international matches on September 9th in Wolfsburg against Japan and on September 12th in Dortmund against France is also at risk. Then there is the top game in the Bundesliga against Bayer Leverkusen (September 15).
For Musiala, Thomas Müller could slip into the starting XI against Augsburg. The 33-year-old had missed most of the pre-season due to an injury, but was immediately an asset in Bremen after coming on.
Pavard is absent from training
Benjamin Pavard, who is willing to emigrate and is said to be about to move to Inter Milan, was absent from Munich’s training on Wednesday due to illness.
On the other hand, newcomer Raphael Guerreiro continued to work on his comeback after tearing a muscle bundle in his right calf.
