Bayern Munich’s basketball players have to wait for their first win in the EuroLeague.
In a repeat of last year’s quarter-finals, coach Andrea Trinchieri’s team lost to top Spanish team FC Barcelona 73-84 (34-37). With three defeats from three games, the Munich team, who started flawlessly in the Bundesliga, are at the bottom of the EuroLeague table.
The American Augustine Rubit was the best scorer with 19 points for Bayern, who failed about six months ago in the fight for the Final Four only in the decisive game five against the Catalans.
