FC Bayern Munich has returned to the Basketball Euroleague.
After two defeats in a row, the Bundesliga team won against Anadolu Efes Istanbul with 86:71 (50:41). With seven wins after 15 games, the Munich team are in midfield.
Bayern got off to a furious start against the 2021 and 2022 Euroleague champions. Thanks to eleven points in a row, Munich were ahead 19:12 (7th minute). Because world champion Andreas Obst was also accurate with four successful three-point throws in the second quarter, the hosts were able to extend their lead to nine points by the break.

Things went even better in the third section. After 29 minutes, coach Pablo Laso’s team was ahead 71:51. The guests from Istanbul were able to reduce the deficit again and again (69:79/35th), but they were no longer a threat to Bayern. The best shooters were the world champions Obst with 17 points and Bonga with 15.
