Bayern departure Süle “professional”
Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has confirmed talks with player advisor Mino Raiola. This represents, among others, the Dutchman Ryan Gravenberch (19) from Ajax Amsterdam – and also Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland (21). “Yes, that’s right, I was in Monaco. But I was also in London this week, I travel a lot in Europe. It is quite normal to meet with one or the other player advisor. You will understand that I will not speak publicly about the content of these talks,” said Kahn on Saturday before the record champions’ game against Bayer Leverkusen on “Sky”. Raiola maintains its office in Monaco.

The Dutch media recently reported on Bayern’s interest in midfielder Gravenberch, who is having a strong season at Ajax. Asked about a possible interest in Haaland, Kahn replied: “Erling Haaland is a player who plays for Borussia Dortmund and is injured at the moment. I’ve always emphasized that I don’t like talking about players from other clubs.” After the season, the Norwegian is available for a reported €75 million thanks to an exit clause. FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are considered the most promising candidates.

The former national goalkeeper Kahn also announced talks about a contract extension with world footballer Robert Lewandowski (33), among others. The Pole’s working paper expires in 2023. “I’ve said several times that we want to hold talks with various of the deserving players in the spring, including Robert of course.” That hasn’t happened yet because FC Bayern is going into the “very crucial phase of the season”. “We just want to concentrate 100 percent on what it’s about.” Every game becomes “in a certain way a final”.

FC Bayern speaks to Gnabry and Lewandowski – praise for changing Süle

Meanwhile, there was praise for defender Niklas Süle (26), who switched to BVB on a free transfer after the season: “It’s a professional attitude that Niklas shows.
