FC Bayern is said to be ready for a record fee

Center forward Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur has been seen as a possible reinforcement for Bayern for months. The people of Munich are said to be more and more convinced of the Englishman and should even be willing to go to the extreme financially for the 29-year-old.

FC Bayern’s interest in Harry Kane has long been documented. According to reports, the Munich team had their eye on the Spurs attacker last summer. Since more and more voices are now being raised that the German record champions have to change their transfer strategy and still sign a nine as Lewandowski’s successor, new speculations keep circulating.

According to “kicker”, FC Bayern has already tried to make initial contact in order to initiate a possible Kane transfer.

One thing is clear: Harry Kane still has a contract with the Premier League club until 2024. Tottenham would love to extend the working paper early to prevent any advances from Munich.

Will Bayern break their transfer record for Kane?

It is just as certain that – should Tottenham agree to a sale – the required transfer fee should move into spheres that have never existed at Bayern before. We are talking about an amount in excess of 100 million euros.

Now reports the Munich “tz“: If Munich were fully convinced of a transfer, they would be ready to break the 100 million euro mark for the top scorer. The report is supported by a statement from club president Herbert Hainer, who said: is quoted: “I don’t think it’s primarily a question of money, but the right player has to come onto the market.”

The most expensive player in the club’s history so far is Frenchman Lucas Hernández, who came to Munich from Atlético Madrid in 2019 for 80 million euros.

Harry Kane, however, had recently been addressed with a view to the change speculation and was not very impressed.

“I’m focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do the best for us,” he said ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt. Previously, however, he had described FC Bayern as a “top-top club”.
