Nagelsmann wants ex-protégé
FC Bayern apparently wants to get serious about recruiting Konrad Laimer (24) from RB Leipzig. As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, the German record champion plans to make a first offer for the Austrian to the “Red Bulls”. The amount of the offer should be between 18 and 20 million euros.

RB Leipzig’s Laimer is taking his time with contract talks
Meanwhile, he does not see the right time for contract talks. “There’s no point in having talks about it at this crucial stage of the season. Otherwise there would only be unrest and I would have to think about things that are not the most important thing at the moment,” Laimer said recently in an interview with “Sport Bild”. Laimer has been in Leipzig since 2017, where he moved from his hometown of RB Salzburg for 7 million euros. To date, he has made 158 appearances for the Saxons (eleven goals/18 assists) and has since reached his career high of €30 million. Its market value is currently estimated at EUR 26 million.
