2nd station in the Eredivisie
Midfielder Adrian Fein is leaving his youth club FC Bayern Munich for good and joining Excelsior Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie, as was last expected. With the promoted team, where the 23-year-old is the most valuable player in the squad with a market value of 700,000 euros, the native of Munich has signed until 2024 with an option for another year. No information was given about the modalities of the change.
Bayern had lent Fein, who signed his first professional contract there in 2019, five times: to Jahn Regensburg, HSV, PSV Eindhoven, Greuther Fürth and Dynamo Dresden. After good development at the first two stations, the former U21 international went downhill in terms of playing time and also in terms of market value with the move to PSV. In Fürth there was hardly any bet on Fein, most recently in Dresden injuries even prevented an assignment at all.

Everyone involved was now looking for a quick solution, as was recently heard from those close to the record champions. Los Angeles FC was also considered an option for a time. Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic said in a statement from the record champions: “Adrian Fein came to us at a young age and was trained as a professional on the FC Bayern campus. He has gained valuable experience on loan at PSV Eindhoven or Hamburger SV in recent years and is now ready for the next step in his career. We wish him all the best and every success for the future.”
Recently it was said that Werder Bremen’s Nick Woltemade (20) was also an issue for the Dutch. According to information from the “dyke room“Recently received two inquiries from the people of Rotterdam and FC St. Gallen. There is a rental shop in the room. VfB Oldenburg is also said to have been interested.
