TV expert Matthias Sammer has commented on Max Eberl. He primarily demands one thing from Bavaria’s sports director.

Former world-class soccer player Matthias Sammer wishes Bayern Munich’s sports director Max Eberl more sharpness. “I think it’s not easy for him. He has come. Yes, he tries his best – in my eyes he often lets things go too much about himself. I would sometimes have thought that you can growl, scratch or bite back,” said Sammer on Friday afternoon in a media round of Amazon Prime Video.

Honorary President Uli Hoeneß had recently admitted disagreements in transfer questions in a TV alcohol and attested to Eberl, “quite sensitive”. The Bayern patron later asserted that he only wanted to help his sports director with the clear statements.

Sammer – Between 2012 and 2016 even in a leading position as a sports director at FC Bayern – Hoeneß knows “enormous presence at the German record champion.” I believe that Uli will always be an important part of the club, regardless of the position. He will name things and how he feels it. He wears his heart on his tongue, “said Sammer. Hoeneß is old enough to know what he is doing and what he doesn’t do.

“But it is always better not to have a latent unrest, because in the long run there is also a certain alibi for the players for the results,” said the 58 -year -old Sammer, who also accompanies the Champions League as an expert for Prime Video in the coming season. “I would like Max to be left a little more alone. That not all media and experts work on this topic,” said Sammer.

Speculation of Eintracht Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche is not only uncomfortable for the official – but also for Bavaria and the current sports director Eberl. “I guess Max,” emphasized Sammer. Eberl had previously decidedly denied speculation about a possible resignation (you can read more about this here). “My heart is here. I thought Never ever turned down here. I have too much plans for that,” said Eberl.
