After a broken fibula

Jamal Musiala could make short appearances at FC Bayern this year after breaking his fibula. Sports director Max Eberl made this clear on the sidelines of the Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen. “We think that he can be with the team again in December. That he can maybe get a taste of a few minutes so that he can be 100 percent back in January,” said Eberl on “Sky”.

Germany’s most valuable footballer suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured his fibula in the game against Paris Saint-Germain at the Club World Cup in the USA in the summer. He recently returned to the pitch and completed running sessions on the grass. “That was a very big step,” said the offensive all-rounder after his first session.

Along with defenders Hiroki Ito (broken metatarsal) and Alphonso Davies (torn cruciate ligament), Musiala is one of the long-term injured players at FC Bayern who have not yet played this season. This meant that Munich was missing players with a market value of 208 million euros.
