The poker about the hoped-for contract extension of winger Kingsley Coman at FC Bayern has been dragging on for months. After there had been contradicting reports about the status of the talks to the last, a final decision could now be imminent.

The current working paper of the French international at FC Bayern expires in a year and a half. The Bundesliga Primus wants to have the situation cleared up by summer at the latest in order to rule out a possible free transfer from Comans in 2023.
As the French source goes on to say, Coman is said to be watched by several top European clubs. However, there is currently no contact between the clubs mentioned and the player. The top English clubs Manchester City and Chelsea FC are only mentioned as potential buyers.
Bayern star is probably not planning a return to PSG
As a native of Paris, Coman has been associated with PSG again and again in the recent past. The league leaders in Ligue 1 were almost nine years ago the first professional club for Coman, who moved to Juventus Turin in Italy in 2014 and finally to FC Bayern in the Bundesliga a year later.
The 36-time national player is said not to have planned a return home at the moment and rather wants to concentrate on a future at FC Bayern.
So far, the contract talks between the club and the player have failed of different salary expectations.
Coman has so far played 147 Bundesliga games for FC Bayern and scored 28 goals.
