After six years in the RB Leipzig jersey, Marcel Sabitzer followed coach Julian Nagelsmann to FC Bayern at the end of August 2021, who put 15 million euros on the table for the Austrian midfielder. The “picture” reports on Tuesday that Sabitzer is at the FC Bayern office to have a clarifying conversation about his future.
The newspaper claims to have seen the right-footed player at 10:05 a.m. on the actually non-training day on Säbener Straße, and a little later Sabitzer’s advisor Roger Wittmann also made his way. “Sky” reporter Torben Hoffmann published corresponding video recordings.
FC Bayern would probably not stand in the way of change
“Bild” revealed a few weeks ago that Sabitzer is said to have expressed thoughts of parting with his environment.
The Welser native lacks the support of those responsible, it said. Stones would not be put in Sabitzer’s way if a club is willing to pay a sum close to the 15 million euros originally invested.
Apparently there is no shortage of interested parties: Most recently, “Sport Bild” Sabitzer traded with Atlético Madrid, the English portal “football.london” brought the Bayern player into play at FC Arsenal and the Turkish newspaper “Takvim” wants to know that Sabitzer’s management put him in the window at Fenerbahce.
