FC Bayern continues to write its “success story”.

FC Bayern has taken an important step towards greater relevance abroad.

To mark the tenth anniversary of its involvement in the USA next year, the German record champions moved to new offices – in the legendary Rockefeller Center in the middle of New York City.

“The great work of our foreign offices is a unique selling point for FC Bayern in the world. Our international employees act as a local contact point for fans around the globe. It is not just because of this dedication that FC Bayern is closer to its fans than almost any other club, which means “The global FC Bayern family is constantly growing,” said CEO Andreas Jung at the inauguration of the new premises in Manhattan.

The step across the pond a decade ago was “a great adventure” for FC Bayern, “now we are moving into an office in the world-famous Rockefeller Center. This shows: the history of FC Bayern in the USA is a success story.”

Jung emphasized that the Bundesliga industry leader “has long since put down roots in the USA. We have done pioneering work here.”

According to the Munich board member, the next steps should now follow “to make our club and German football even more popular in North and Latin America.”

FC Bayern “at the epicenter of international football”

Dee Kundra, who has been FC Bayern’s office manager in the Big Apple for a year and a half, echoed the same sentiments. “The enthusiasm for football is growing and growing – and FC Bayern is right in the middle of it thanks to our office in New York. We have built up a variety of collaborations and contacts in this important market over many years.”

With a view to the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA, Kundra said: “We are here at the epicenter of international football in the next few years and we know that we will be here and carry the FC Bayern brand into the world. One more thing We have now made a statement about this, among other things, by moving to the iconic Rockefeller Center. The clear goal is for us to be one of the best-known football clubs in the Americas after 2027.”

FC Bayern now also has its own offices in Shanghai and Bangkok. The professional team also regularly goes on PR trips to non-European countries.
