The newly crowned basketball cup winner FC Bayern Munich has continued its successful run in the Bundesliga.
In the first BBL game after the triumph at the Top Four last weekend, the league leaders struggled to an 86:74 (46:38) against BG Göttingen and thus achieved their 13th league win in a row.
The Munich team, who celebrated their fifth cup victory last weekend, continue to lead the table with a record of 17 wins and 3 defeats.
For Spanish coach Pablo Laso’s team, center Devin Booker (13) scored the most points in the catch-up game on matchday 12.
The Göttingen team, where Umoja Gibson (15) impressed as the best shooter, is still worried about relegation to 13th place.
