According to consistent reports, the move of Australian U-national player Nestory Irankunda to FC Bayern is already on the home stretch. His club coach at Adelaide United did not want to confirm this on Saturday – but did not deny it either.
Has FC Bayern already secured the super talent Nestory Irankunda? According to consistent media reports, the record champions won the bid for the 17-year-old winger from Australian first division club Adelaide United this week. United coach Carl Veart was asked about the upcoming transfer on Saturday – and reacted annoyed.
“I’m not here to answer any questions about Nestory,” Veart said after his side’s 5-1 defeat of Sydney FC. When asked whether an agreement had been reached with FC Bayern and whether the media reports corresponded to the facts, the coach stated tightly: “We will find out in time.”
Bayern flirt not in the Adelaide squad
The trainer did not want to give a clear denial even after further questioning. “Let’s talk about the game. There’s been way too much talk about it [den Wechsel von Irankunda] spoken. What happens to Nestor will happen and will come out in time,” Veart said.
Irankunda himself was not at the game on Saturday. The super talent, who established himself in United’s first team in the young A-League season, was sent off with yellow-red in the previous game against Melbourne and was therefore not in the squad.
“Transfer expert” Fabrizio Romano was the first to report about the upcoming deal during the week. In this context, the journalist also wrote about an existing agreement between FC Bayern and Adelaide United. He mentioned the transfer fee as around 3.4 million euros plus bonuses.
