Leverkusen left points on St. Pauli – to the advantage of Bavaria. The champion could be established prematurely on the coming matchday.

Doublesieger Bayer Leverkusen has already given up. Patrik Schick said after the 1-1 on Sunday evening on St. Pauli: “The chance is gone.” Coach Xabi Alonso also emphasized: “It is not over mathematically, but actually.” In fact, the defending champion’s championship rain in the Bundesliga can be over on Saturday.

Because: Bayer Leverkusen does not win against FC Augsburg on match day 31, FC Bayern Munich is prematurely German champion with a victory in the parallel game against FSV Mainz 05 (both from 3:30 p.m. in the T-Online Liveticker).

The Munich record champion has 72 points after 30 season games, Leverkusen is now eight points ago, especially because of ten draws. “That’s just too many,” said national player Jonathan Tah after the final whistle at the Millerntor.

If Leverkusen loses Leverkusen on Saturday and Bayern get a point if the German record champion would be nine points ahead. That would be theoretically to catch up in the remaining three games, but in view of the goal difference (+58 to +29).
