The Barça subsidiary has made public the numbers of the 23 footballers that make up its squad
The number 10 does have an owner at Barça Atlètic: it is for Aleix Garrido
Barça Atlètic already has definitive numbers. The Barça reserve team, practically new compared to last season and after a frenetic market, has a squad made up of 23 players, not counting the youth players who will be in the dynamic of Rafa Márquez’s team, such as Héctor Fort, Marc Bernal or Pau Prim.
In the Barça Atlètic squad, the presence of footballers who will surely be more under the command of Xavi Hernández than Rafa Márquez stands out. The most paradigmatic case is that of Lamine Yamal, who in the reserve team will wear number 17 (in the Spanish team he wears number 19 in this window and in the Barça first team, number 27).
Another player who has already appeared in the first team and with success is Fermín López, who when he has to help the second team –as will be the case this Sunday (7:30 p.m.) in Tarragona- He will wear the number 11 on the back of his jersey.
For his part, Ángel Alarcón, already in the final stretch of his recovery and who had Xavi’s trust last season until his injury, will have the 7.
As for the signings with the greatest impact, Noah Darvich will have number 21, Mikayil Faye will have number 15, goalkeeper Marc Vidal will have number 13 and Mamadou Fall, who will have his first surname, Mbacke, written on the shirt, number 4.
Barça Atlètic does have its 10
Just as the Barça first team has been left without number 10 after the departure of Ansu Fati and has not been replaced, there is an owner in the reserve team. And he is one of the most representative of the squad, Aleix Garrido. The Ripoll midfielder will be one of Rafa Márquez’s key pieces this season.
