FC Barcelona can’t get past a draw against Napoli

Co-favorite FC Barcelona has to tremble for the round of 16 in the Europa League.

In the playoff first leg against SSC Napoli, the team led by national goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen drew 1-1 (0-1) after falling behind on Thursday evening.

Piotr Zielinski (29th) only beat ter Stegen in the second half when he scored the opening goal, while newcomer Ferran Torres (59th) equalized with a hand penalty after video evidence in the second half.

The second leg in Naples will take place on February 24 (9:00 p.m.). Barca were relegated from the Champions League as third in the group behind Bayern Munich and Benfica Lisbon.
