FC Augsburg has presented the first new addition to the coming season. From Estac Troyes from Ligue 2, wing player Kyliane Dong comes to the Fuggerstadt, he signed until 2030. Since the 20-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, Dong changes free of charge.

“The conversations were very positive right from the start and I am looking forward to the challenge in the Bundesliga and the time together. I absolutely wanted to go to Augsburg, because the FCA is an ambitious club in which young players are optimally encouraged and developed. I will hardly approach the matter with full energy and I can hardly wait to wear the FCA jersey from summer,” said Dong, who has both French and Cameroonian citizenship.

The right wing has been active in Troyes since 2022 and made his debut for the professionals at the age of 17. So far, he ran 47 times (four goals, four templates) in the French second division, plus six missions in Ligue 1.

“We have observed the development of Kyliane for a long time and are pleased that the switch to the FCA will come about in the summer. With his dynamics and dribble strength, as a U20 national player France, he has good potential and promising individual skills to develop into a Bundesliga player. We are looking forward to working and wishing Kyliane a good start and success at the FCA,” explained sports director Marinko, “explained Jurendic. At the FCA, Dong meets his compatriots Alexis Claude-Maurice and Chrislain Matsima.
