FC Augsburg loses Dzenan Pejcinovic to VfL Wolfsburg – U17 international

U17 international

The future of U17 national player Dzenan Pejcinovic is unlikely to lie with FC Augsburg. The attacker has joined a report from the “Augsburg General” decided to move to VfL Wolfsburg. The transfer to Lower Saxony is imminent.

Most recently, “Bild” reported on Wolfsburg’s interest and also named Juventus Turin and Manchester City as clubs vying for Pejcinovic. Instead, the top scorer apparently decided to stay in Germany and, after Dikeni Salifou (19, Werder Bremen) and Noa-Gabriel Simic (17, Borussia Dortmund), is the third talent to develop from the FCA youth into a Bundesliga competitor changes.

Augsburg’s new coach Enrico Maassen could not change anything about the upcoming transfer. According to the report, the 38-year-old tried to convince the youngster, who scored twelve goals in 21 games in the U17 Bundesliga South/Southwest, in several conversations and video calls to stay with the “Fuggerstädter”. Pejcinovic’s decision didn’t change that.
