Bundesliga club FC Augsburg has signed midfielder Elvis Rexhbecaj from league competitor VfL Wolfsburg with immediate effect.
The 24-year-old German-Kosovar, who made a total of 103 appearances for VfL Wolfsburg, 1. FC Köln and VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga, has been given a four-year contract until June 30, 2026. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer .
“We’ve been watching Elvis for a long time,” said Stefan Reuter, sporting director of FC Augsburg, on Wednesday: “I’m sure that his qualities will do our team a lot of good.”
