Doubles winner with Basel

After three years, Anton Kade returns to Germany. Born in Berlin, who had played for Hertha BSC until 2022 before joining FC Basel, switching to FC Augsburg. A year before his end of the contract, a moderate transfer is due for the 21 -year -old all -rounder, which receives a working paper by 2029.
According to reports, 2.25 million euros immediately flow from Augsburg to Basel, and bonuses can increase the transfer to EUR 2.5 million. This increases the expenses of the Fuggerstadt to a good 17 million euros. Kade had once switched to Switzerland for 750,000 euros and played 107 games there with 23 direct goal participations. He became champion and cup winner with FCB last season and increased its market value to 5 million euros.
“With Anton Kade we win a player who fits our team excellently. He can be used aggressively and has the experience from over 100 competitive games for Basel at his young age. With his strengths, he adds a valuable component to our squad,” said FCA sports director Benni Weber.
Kade, who will wear the number 30, explained: “I am really looking forward to my return to Germany. The time in Basel was a valuable experience for me, but I see the FCA as the perfect next step for my personal development. The conversations with the coaching team and those responsible have absolutely convinced me. My goal is to get used to it quickly and play a successful season together with the team.”
