- FC Bayern before surprise purchase
+++ December 5th: Favorite for slot successor in Liverpool? +++
Arne Slot is currently sitting on a shaky chair at Liverpool FC, which has become no less shaky after the draw against Sunderland on Wednesday (1-1). Numerous names have long been discussed as successors.
But a former Bundesliga coach is said to have the best chance at the moment: Oliver Glasner. As the portal “fichajes” reports, the former Wolfsburg and Frankfurt coach is currently the favorite to succeed the slot, and his name is currently the most intensively discussed.
This is also because Glasner’s profile corresponds exactly to what the LFC bosses are looking for and that the current Crystal Palace team manager would probably be quite easy to sign, as his contract with the “Eagles” expires next summer. A transfer fee would therefore have to be paid, but it would probably not be too high.
In addition to Glasner, numerous other names have recently been played in Liverpool, including that of ex-coach Jürgen Klopp, another former Reds coach, Brendan Rodgers, was named, plus Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth) and other candidates.

+++ December 5th: BVB star still in Barca focus +++
If those responsible at Borussia Dortmund have their way, Nico Schlotterbeck should probably extend his contract today rather than tomorrow; the BVB bosses have publicly communicated this several times. The defender, on the other hand, shows no hurry at all. Probably also because the European elite are said to be lining up to sign the 26-year-old. There has been intense interest in FC Barcelona in particular for some time now – to the chagrin of Borussia, who are not in the most comfortable negotiating position. You can find out more here.

+++ December 5th: Salah bang at Liverpool FC? +++
Mo Salah’s sporting star at Liverpool FC currently seems to be declining. Recently, the Egyptian superstar only sat on the bench twice in a row. “He’s a Premier League legend, a Liverpool icon – and that’s exactly why I don’t think this will end well,” said former Reds professional Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports.
Will there be a separation between Salah and Liverpool in the winter? “Fichajes.net” reports on a lucrative January offer from Galatasaray for the 33-year-old. This should include an annual salary of 20 to 22 million US dollars (up to 18.9 million euros). Salah should also be lured with a guaranteed regular place.
Liverpool should be ready to talk in the event of a generous offer from Istanbul. Salah’s market value is still estimated at 45 million euros.
+++ December 4th: Bayern star on Liverpool list +++
According to information from “Bild”, Liverpool FC’s courtship for Michael Olise is heating up again. The Reds, who have been interested in the FC Bayern offensive man for a long time but have recently withdrawn a bit, are said to have put the winger back on a transfer list.
In addition to Olise, there are also Kenan Yildiz from Juventus Turin, Rodrygo from Real Madrid and Iliman Ndiaye from Everton, as revealed in the “Bayern Insider” podcast. The list should be activated if the Reds’ performance does not improve again quickly.
The good thing from Bayern’s point of view: Olise has no exit clause, so the German record champions have the reins of action in their own hands. The Frenchman’s contract runs until 2029.

+++ December 4th: FC Bayern before surprise transfer +++
FC Bayern is apparently about to make a surprising transfer. As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports with reference to Ecuadorian football journalist Reinaldo Romero, Munich want to sign Virgilio Olaya.
The 17-year-old Ecuadorian is a central defender and plays for the Ecuadorian first division club SD Aucas. It is not known how much the 1.88 meter tall defender will cost. Olaya’s market value is estimated at less than 100,000 euros.
The only thing that is clear is that the teenager, who will come of age in February next year, will first be awarded. After that, the 17-year-old should be a promising player for the FCB campus.
In keeping with Romano’s report, “Bild” also recently reported that FC Bayern had intensified its scouting activities in South America. Olaya could be a first result of the efforts.
+++ December 4th: Barca star was offered to Bayern +++
Ronald Araujo from FC Barcelona was repeatedly linked in the rumor mill with a move to FC Bayern, especially in the summer. Recently, however, things have been rather quiet around the defender from Uruguay, probably also because Araujo hasn’t always seemed at ease at Barca. Coach Hansi Flick recently stated that private problems were affecting the 26-year-old.
According to “El Nacional”, the Catalans’ sporting leadership probably no longer has the patience to wait for Araujo to get stronger. Apparently they are already looking for a buyer.
Accordingly, the national player is said to have been offered to FC Bayern, among others. Barca should “only” demand 30 million euros and 20 million euros in possible bonus payments as a transfer fee. In the summer there was still talk of 80 million euros.

+++ December 4th: Kane should demand a mega contract +++
Harry Kane’s commitment to FC Bayern is a unique success story: Since his move to Munich in the summer of 2023, the captain of the English national football team has played 117 competitive games for the German record champions. The crazy result: 110 goals. No wonder that the competition is said to have their eye on the 32-year-old. FC Barcelona in particular is repeatedly linked to a deal. However, the Englishman should make strong demands for a change. You can find out more about this here.
+++ December 4th: Barcelona hot for El Mala +++
On Wednesday, Said El Mala from 1. FC Köln made it clear that leaving in the winter is not an option for him. However, the fires of the rumor mill continue to burn. FC Barcelona are said to be thinking about luring the 19-year-old to Catalonia in the summer. This is reported by “fichajes.net”.
At the Blaugrana, it should become clear that the purchase option for winger Marcus Rashford will not be drawn; El Mala is said to have moved into focus as a replacement.
The report names extremely prominent competition from FC Bayern, PSG and Manchester City, but Barca is said to be confident of winning the race. Also because the youngster is said to be promised a regular place.
El Mala’s contract in Cologne doesn’t end until the summer of 2030, but reports recently suggested that the people from the cathedral town would be willing to talk if there was a hefty offer in the summer.
