Fatih Terim’s Panathinaikos is in the final | Panathinaikos 6-5 PAOK | Penalties result



Panathinaikos, coached by Fatih Terim, reached the final by eliminating PAOK in the Greek Cup.


The green-white team hosted PAOK, which they beat 1-0 in the first match of the semi-finals, in the rematch.


PAOK finished the regular time of the match 1-0 ahead with the goal scored by Andrija Zivkovic in the 72nd minute, and the extra time started.


PAOK scored another goal with Polish Tomasz Kedziora in the 105th minute and made the score 2-0. 120+9. Dimitris Limnios, who hit the opponent’s net on behalf of Panathinaikos in the minute, took the match to a penalty shoot-out.


Panathinaikos, which outperformed its opponent 6-5 in the shootout, became the side that advanced to the final.


Panathinaikos will face the winner of the Aris-Panaitolikos match in the Greek Cup final.
