Loud music with deep bass; Techno, electro and rap. Plus liters of alcohol. The “Father’s Day” parties in Volkspark Friedrichshain by numerous young adults on Friday night were not only loud, but there was also violence. The police cleared the area.
Previously, there had been repeated clashes among the revelers. Residents also complained that the music was way too loud.
The officials of the section and a hundred squad finally cleared the park. There were acts of resistance and even bottles thrown at the emergency services. The officers temporarily deprived at least two people (a woman and a man) of their liberty.
► According to initial findings, the woman had thrown a bottle at a group car and officials. She is probably expecting a report of property damage and possibly breach of the peace.
► The man faces a charge of insult and “assaulting law enforcement officers”. What exactly happened is not known.
There are also said to have been several emergency services in the park. The reason for this: excessive consumption of alcohol or drugs.
Around 11:30 p.m., the party-goers reluctantly made their way home, it was quiet again. What remained was an Eldorado for bottle collectors and a pile of rubbish.
