A father and his child were injured tonight after an accident with a barbecue at the Park Westerkogge holiday park on Lijsbeth Tijsweg in Berkhout.
The accident was reported to the emergency services at 9:35 p.m. A police spokesman tells NH that the child and the father were injured when they lit a barbecue and a blowtorch started.
Both the child and her father were taken to hospital. The family has German nationality and was on holiday in Berkhout.
The police are investigating exactly what happened.
