On July 30, an accident occurred in Denver, Colorado. During a performance by country singer Kenny Chesney, a viewer lost her footing and fell to her death. According to the police, there was no outside interference.
“It was an accidental fall. I don’t think anyone pushed her,” said police spokesman Nat Magee. The woman is said to have been sitting on the handrail of a escalator during the concert until she finally lost her balance and fell.
Kenny Chesney commented on the accident in the local newspaper. “I was deeply shocked to learn that someone lost their life at the concert. It was an evening full of joy – hearing that broke my heart,” said the 54-year-old.
