Fatal accident around Zarren: Georgian died, other victim critical

In the accident, an Opel Astra and a Ford Focus collided head-on. The driver of the Opel Astra, a Georgian born in 1996, was thrown from his car. The man died and died instantly.

The driver (°1982) of the Ford Focus is a man from Kortemark. He was severely trapped in his car and had to be freed by the fire brigade, after which he was rushed to the hospital in Roeselare under a police escort in life-threatening condition.
