The Ter Specke Cup for women was won this afternoon by Maayke Tjin A-Lim. In Lisse, the Hoornse won the 100 meter hurdles in a very fast time: 12.91 seconds.
Tjin A-Lim beat all-around players Anouk Vetter and Emma Oosterwegel. They crossed the finish line well behind the athlete of AV Zaanland: 13.16 and 13.45. Tjin A-Lim’s time was below the European Championship limit (12.93), but invalid due to too much tailwind.
The performance of the North Holland girl was rewarded by the jury with the Ter Specke Bokaal. The men’s prize went to long jumper Jeff Tesselaar.
