Fashionette AG, a European e-commerce group for premium and luxury fashion accessories based in Düsseldorf, generated net sales of EUR 36.2 million in the first quarter of 2022. This corresponds to a consolidated growth of plus 54.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Various factors contributed to the growth: the amount of shopping carts and the number of orders each grew by 4.9 percent, as well as the number of active customers by 19.2 percent, according to the company in a press release.
The group includes the online platforms fashionette.com, fashionette.de and brandfield.com. Both Fashionette and Brandfield contributed to this growth, delivering a positive adjusted EBITDA margin of 0.6 percent for the group in the first quarter of 2022.
Daniel Raab, CEO of Fashionette AG on the positive development: “Although both companies were affected by the consequences of the current geopolitical climate, they still achieved profitable growth. Fashionette in particular has been able to withstand the volatility of the macroeconomic environment.”
