Fashionable city trips with Burberry: First stop in London

Burberry will bring its famous equestrians around the world as part of the newly announced ‘Burberry Streets’ program. “Burberry Streets” are “city takeovers” that celebrate the art of discovery and exploration in cities around the world, the traditional British brand announced on XX.

However, before going out into the wider world, Burberry is focusing on its homeland. The first “Street” project began last week with the takeover of the famous London cafe Norman’s, dressing it in the brand’s signature check and playing host for an evening. There will also be a traveling Norman’s food truck on behalf of Burberry during London Fashion Week, which starts on Friday.

The brand’s presence will also be seen across the city, with the brand’s rider and rose print introduced by creative director Daniel Lee appearing in chalk drawings and on taxis across London.

“We are thrilled that Daniel’s first collection is now available in stores and online,” said Chief Marketing Officer Rod Manley. “With our redesigned website, new product signatures and branding, and the launch of our global Burberry Streets initiative here in our home market, we look forward to sharing the new Burberry world with our customers.”

Burberry has Seoul and Shanghai in its sights as its next destinations for October.
