Precisely, on the red carpet, two of the activities most punished by isolation met: fashion and showbiz.
As if to make up for lost time, the commitment to luxury was general, but also to a sober and elegant style, much more austere than in previous editions. There were excesses of originality, as always, but in the final balance, rationality and classicism won out. An appointment that summoned the most famous figures of the televisionin a renewed pact of entertainment and glamour.

As always, the night was a display of trends: very well dressed people, correctly advised, without the “wedding” style improvisations of other years.
The sparkly dresses (“sparkling dresses”) were the favorites of all, in a very simple cut. These fashionable models are made with elastic and comfortable materials, enough to survive an endless night without disturbances, like that of the Martín Fierro. This was the dress of El Camarín that Lali Esposito chose to attend the ceremony: a mesh of iridescent and shiny pailletes, long and tight. Or the one from Gino Bogani, very simple, in gold lamé; that highlighted the natural elegance of Juana Viale. Bogani has been dressing the driver for a long time and already knows by heart what looks best on her.
Gold and nude was the formula most chosen by the famous, in fabrics embroidered with sequins or stones, and always with a cut at the waist. Like the one-shoulder dress that Yanina Latorre chose, a design by Jorge Rey, with a gold belt and a stone pattern. Or the satin one worn by Verónica de la Canal, in a nineteenth-century style, with a wide skirt and a classic neckline, in a tone that our grandmothers would have called “cream”.
Susana Gimenez was one of the most splendid, with a tight dress, cut at the waist and V-neckline, the work of the British designer Jenny Packhamidentical to the model once worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
The “cut out”, that trend that cuts out segments of skin with the fabric, with geometric openwork, had its best representative in Agustina Cherri, dressed by María Gorof, with an imposing dress with long sleeves and silver festoons on the cuffs and neck. .
Adrián Brown dressed two impressive women: Flor de V and Paula Chaves, who with very different styles, wore large volume garments, in strong colors, so as not to go unnoticed.
The necklines and transparencies, especially in younger women, were repeated. There were elegant versions, like the dress of Agustina Casanova, hostess of the red carpet, a two-piece model by Marian Saud, which showed off her perfect figure. And necklines that caused accidents, like the one starred by Jesica Cirio, whose strapless dress slipped when she went on stage to receive the “La Peña de Morfi” award. Or highly criticized suggestive models, such as those worn by Sol Pérez and Alejandra Maglietti, which exposed the lower part of their lolas.
At the other extreme, Florencia Peña wore a soft pink dress with long sleeves (another strong trend along with the gloves above the elbows), and a bare back by Camila Romano, which elegantly followed the contour of her curves.
Verónica Lozano and Claudia Villafañe wore very sober outfits (another strong trend seen at the Oscars). Jimena Barón also surprised covered from head to toe with a wide and black ambo. She even wore dark glasses that she did not take off at any time during the night.
As for the men, almost unanimously, they adopted the tuxedo, a choice that raised the voltage of luxury to the event several points. Robertito Funes was one of the most elegant in a Pablo Ramírez suit, but Damián Betular and Mauto Szeta also stood out, impeccable. Some, like Darío Barassi, opted for sneakers and others, like Santiago Artemis, opted for an extreme, disruptive and rare style.

One of the favorite dresses of the night was the one that Pampita chose. A memorable model that Elsa Serrano made for Norma Aleandro and that the actress used in 1986 to receive the Oscar for “The Official Story.” The piece belongs to the designer’s museum run by her daughters. The dress has shoulder pads, a plunging neckline and is made of lace lined with satin in a very hot pink.
Another dress with history was the one worn by Romina Gaetani, a model by Jorge Ibañez that she had already worn ten years before, with a deep neckline on the back. Her long-sleeved white dress still fit her perfectly.
Cristina Pérez said that the vintage Gustavo Cadile model that she wore at the gala waited for months in her closet for the Martín Fierro night to take place. Almost a cabal, so that the most classic party on television would be celebrated again.
