Belgian fashion house Dries van Noten is launching its own line of perfumes and cosmetics, the brand has confirmed to FashionUnited. The first perfume and lipstick collection will be launched on March 2nd.
Back in 2018, when Puig took over his fashion brand, Dries van Noten knew he wanted to launch perfume and beauty products. The fashion designer told the specialist magazine Women’s Wear Daily. “We immediately started exchanging ideas and working on concepts. I don’t want to make it easy for myself. As I make clothes for many different people, it would be odd if we mandated a perfume. To say: This is the only fragrance. I really wanted an offer,” Van Noten told WWD.
Finally, the Spanish group Puig comes from the world of cosmetics and fragrances. The group owns both the cosmetics and fashion divisions of brands such as Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera and Jean Paul Gaultier. The company also owns British luxury beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury, as well as fragrance brands Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur.
The Dries Van Noten collection consists of ten perfumes, 30 lipsticks and various accessories. The fashion house does not yet mention the prices of the article in its communication.
