The idea started in 2020 with a black t-shirt and the distinctive imprint “1C1Y”, the abbreviation for ONE CHILD ONE YEAR and developed into a social fashion luxury brand in 2022. With every item of clothing purchased, customers support a child for one year in a creative educational project run by the non-profit partner organization ARTHELPS. The mission of 1C1Y is to give disadvantaged children and young people in Iraq, Ukraine and Germany the chance of a fulfilling life with the help of social fashion.
