Fashion designer Michael Michalsky sees warm sweaters as a new fashion trend for the coming winter. “Well, I think warm sweaters will be a fashion hit in the living room this year.” They used to be worn on the street. “Or: You could never wear the very thick sweaters anyway because there was simply no more winter,” he said on Wednesday evening on the sidelines of the “Tribute to Bambi” gala in Berlin. He himself wants to “finally put on the sweaters at home that I haven’t been able to wear for years because of Global Warming, which I’ve always designed for the winter season”.
In other respects, too, he had prepared for the energy crisis, said Michalsky. For example, he “did everything possible” “that you can somehow isolate”. In addition, he “never takes a shower for more than three minutes”. In his company, too, he is trying to save as much energy “as is somehow possible”.(dpa)
