Together with the launch of a community app, the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) is opening its network to non-members for the first time.
As the industry organization announced on Monday, start-ups that were founded no more than five years ago and industry players such as self-employed designers, journalists and stylists can now use the FCG’s internal online network without an official one Use membership free of charge.
As so-called Clubbers Non-members have the opportunity to publish information, events and job offers in the platform’s internal network. The FCG Club has existed for a year, but until now was only open to official members. They will continue to benefit from their membership in the form of benefits such as invitation quotas to events, discounts and media subscriptions, according to the Fashion Council.
As a further innovation, the FCG Club is now also available as an app and can be downloaded from both the App Store and the Google Play Store. This year, the platform will also be used increasingly to publish and announce internal events and projects of the industry organization.
“We are pleased to now open the FCG Club to non-members and to offer smaller brands and young professionals the opportunity to participate in our network and make their first contacts. The launch of our own FCG Club app is an important step for us to stimulate exchange among ourselves even more and to inform the industry about FCG internals,” says Scott Lipinski, FCG managing director, in the statement.
