The Fashion Council Germany elected a new board at its annual general meeting, which took place on Thursday in Berlin.
Roel de Cooman, VP Global Sales at the Haebmau Atelier agency, and Simone Hartmann, Managing Partner at Hartmann Consultants, are now represented on the industry organization’s management board for the first time.
However, Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt, has resigned from the board “at his own request after five years of voluntary work,” according to a statement.
Otherwise there were no changes. Christiane Arp remains chairwoman of the board, and Dirk Schönberger, Marie-Louise Berg and Theo Grassl were also re-elected to the board.
