The Fashion Council Germany and the PVH Foundation are launching a joint educational program. The program, called “Generation Future”, is intended to be dedicated to the education of German students with an average age of 15 and to promote young people’s understanding of social equality and diversity, with particular attention to the effects of the fashion industry.

In order to diversify the industry and support disadvantaged groups in society who face social exclusion and hardships, it primarily targets Realschule and comprehensive schools in German regions with a high proportion of diversity. “Generation Future” is scheduled to start this fall.

“We want to encourage talent from an early age to reconsider the status quo of the fashion industry and to explore career opportunities that may not be familiar to them,” says Scott Lipinski, CEO Fashion Council Germany.
