At the police station on Claudius Prinsenlaan in Breda, a projection of the VVD logo with a red cross shined through it on Tuesday evening. A mistake, because the supporters of Farmers Defense Force and the political party Belang van Nederland proudly announced that they had put the city office in the spotlight.
The action is part of the so-called ‘Lichtjesroute’ by activists from Farmers Defense Force and the political party Belang van Nederland. They are conducting an ‘anti-VVD campaign’ in the run-up to the elections, and do so in a different province every day.
Just wrong
It was Breda’s turn on Tuesday, but that didn’t go exactly as planned. Although the activists were in the area: the police station is next to the city office.
Farmers Defense Force and BVNL hope that their campaign will convince voters to vote for Sieta van Keimpema. Van Keimpema is number 3 on the candidate list of Belang van Nederland and is on the board of Farmers Defense Force.
Brabant is once again on the activists’ agenda. They will come to GLOW Eindhoven on November 18. Maybe we will be able to put the right place in the spotlight there.
