Steffi: “Dinie is having a hard time and there is also a heavy blanket over the guest week. Hans feels that things are not going well, but is not yet ready to discuss it with her. I think she just wants to let him know what’s going on and needs time. And Annette is a really nice woman, but he’s too busy with Dinie.”
And was there finally something of a flame visible at the Frisian farmer Jouke? He says that he likes Karlijn and Lotte (from Brabant), but Steffi saw something else.
“Yeah, that moment in the stable with Karlijn, when they are messing around with those buckets and those numbers. You saw and felt the tension, that smile on his face. Something really happened there. More than with Lotte, but okay, I don’t dare to bet my money on it yet. Nice, by the way, that through the visit of his parents, we also saw the more warm and social side of Jouke.”
The moment of choice of the Drenthe farmer Evert provided the plot twist of the broadcast. As expected, the calm Nans and Maud (who now even see a heart in a potato) are allowed to stay and Cora was sent home. But instead of going home, she got in the car with Yvon. To drive straight to Evert’s brother Koop.
“How beautiful do you want it to be? She really didn’t hesitate for a moment after Evert sent her away, packed her things and went to the next address. And it just might work. They liked each other on the first day of stay, Cora really wants a relationship and Koop could use some entertainment. Fruit grower Rob and his two wives Wendy and Sonja had a great time. The main question is who will be taken home forever by Rob via John Denvers’ Country Road. For now it is blonde Wendy who catches on to ‘stimulating’ and ‘teasing’ the Gelderland farmer.
“There is a bit of a holiday atmosphere there. Yet he actually seems to go for one person since the speed date: Wendy. I’m really going to fall off my chair if it turns out to be different. She senses that naturally and responds to it by flirting with him. I wonder if they were aware that the camera captured their kiss that we saw in the preview…”.
Not only farmer Hans, but also the Limburg sheep farmer Janine is having a hard time. The men Christiaan and Sander obviously love her, but according to the preview she is thinking about sending them both home.
“Actually, Janine has a luxury problem, with two nice men around her. My feeling is that she does like Sander, but he also makes him uncomfortable and insecure. He comes too close. She has to get out of her comfort zone, then something really beautiful can arise”, Steffi says from her own experience.
Finally, Steffi’s teaser for the next broadcast: “This overnight stay is always very relaxed, but also the calm before the storm. It will be difficult starting next week. Everyone is tired and gets hit by all the emotions. Watch out: the man with the hammer is ready.”
