Even after he was thrown from his tractor in the collision on the A12 and was seriously injured, farmer Bert Olieman (40) first wanted to take care of his wife Bertine (37) and daughter Rhodé (17). Fortunately they were better off. Both were allowed to return to Nieuwerbrug in the evening, but Bert had his first operation. Probably not the last.
