Farmer Annemiek Koekoek from Tynaarlo is pregnant. “If all goes well, we are expecting our first child in May,” she writes with a photo of her holding baby shoes.
“We are very happy and happy, my animal friends are also looking forward to it. So far my pregnancy is going well. Our baby seems to be in good health and I feel great,” Koekoek said.
The 29-year-old farmer from Drenthe has been in a relationship for more than a year. She knows her boyfriend from agricultural school. The two now live together on her farm in Tynaarlo.
Koekoek became a well-known Dutch person in 2019 through her participation in the TV program Boerzoek Vrouw. She literally gave millions of Dutch people a glimpse into her kitchen every Sunday evening. A total of 633 men hoped to score a date with her. She did not find true love among the eventual contenders.
Two years later, Koekoek again appeared weekly on TV, in the program Expeditie Robinson. For almost a month she stayed on a desert island with barely anything to eat and no contact with the outside world. She almost reached the semi-finals, but was voted out of the so-called island council.
