The Hoftex Group AG gets a new board.
The previous CEO Klaus Steger is leaving the Hoftex Group’s board of directors when he has reached the age limit, the textile company announced on Monday.
Steger has been in office since January 2012 and will be replaced by Manuela Spörl at the age of 65. The designated successor is currently still CFO of the company and has been a member of the Executive Board since August 2020. The exact time of the change depends on when a successor for Spörl is found.
The Hoftext Group AG has existed for around 170 years and offers technical yarns and textile products. The holding bundles the three business areas Hoftex, Tenowo and Neutex under itself and has its headquarters in the Bavarian town of Hof. The textile manufacturer says it employs more than 1,030 people and had sales of around 138 million euros in 2021.
