fFundamental event for fans of Asian cinema, the Far East Film Festival will enliven the center of Udine from 21 to 29 April, as it has every year since 1999. 78 titles – 9 world premieres – from 14 countries and, on the red carpet, three cult directors: the Hong Kong Johnnie Tothe Japanese Watanabe Hirobumi and Korean Jang Sun-woo.

The Golden Mulberry for Lifetime Achievement will go to the Japanese actress and singer Baisho Chiekoprotagonist of Plan 75, which has at its center a crucial issue for Japan (as for Italy), the aging of the population. Out then at the cinema on May 11th.
