Kaarina Nurminen won the WC gold in the bicycle orienteering sprint competition in the Czech Republic.
Big Briannian came second Emily Benham to Kvaleen came to the finish line no less than 28 seconds behind Nurm.
The gold medal was Nurminen’s first adult series World Cup medal.
– I’ve probably never been so nervous before the race as I was today. I had somehow piled up the pressure of success on myself thanks to the victories in the youth series, and then the harder level of these adult series made me think.
